thegiftspree.com is operated by Vicky Enterprise ("The Gift Spree", "we", "us"), H.No. 48, Bawana J.J. Colony, Delhi 110039, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It follows the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
- Details you give us at checkout: your name, email address and mobile number, and the product you buy.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner (a licensed payment gateway). We receive only the payment status, amount and a transaction reference. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, such as support questions.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) kept by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site running.
How we use your information
- to process your order and email your download link,
- to answer your questions and handle refunds,
- to prevent fraud and keep the website secure, and
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- our payment partner, to process your payment;
- our email and hosting providers, to deliver your files and run the website; and
- government authorities, when the law requires it.
These providers may only use your data to provide their service to us.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for up to 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Security
The website is served only over HTTPS. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders and support customers.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to support@thegiftspree.com. We respond within 30 days. Some records must be kept by law even after a deletion request.
Children
Our products are meant to be bought by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
